Oh, for the love of jeans!
Snap. I joined this seven week weight loss team challenge, and come to find out I have to blog my weight?? Can't we just email it?? It's all for the love of Team Silver (foxes). Ok, I added the foxes part. Maybe if I just sneak in the fact that I'm currently one hundred fifty one pounds no one will notice?
When I tell people I want to lose 25-30 pounds (sorry, bilby, i don't convert to kilos) they're surprised. It's distributed well. (no, it's not in my boobs) So well in fact, that when I was getting measured for my dress for Sarah D's wedding, the Korean seamstress slapped my thigh and said "OH, you got big thighs! You don't look it!" I just about slapped her. She didn't charge me for the measurements or verbal abuse. And that was when I was about 15 pounds lighter!
So here's a linkback or whatever to the sista hood website. I have to do this every Wednesday. I need to make weight loss a helluva lot funnier, or I'm gonna start losing readers AND pounds! You can join in on the fun Marcy and not be on a team and lose weight and get support and whateva. FREE! Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans

You sneaky sneak. I saw it in there, good job for posting it!!
Good luck on the challenge!
Big thighs... that's kinda like shrieking "Do you know you have grey hairs up here?!" when you are like 16 years old and cutting my hair in front of a salon full of people. Say buh-bye to your tip, bimbo.
You are too funny! Love the fact that you spelled it out, TRICKY!
You should've just kicked the bitch.
There's 2.2 pounds to a kilo 25-30 pounds would be 11.3636363kg to 13.36363636kg.... yes those 36's just keep recurring. You know if you just convert things into kilos you feel so much better because everything is such a smaller number. 150 doesn't seem like too much to me. (Could be worse, could have grey hairs at the age of 16-17. And converting Australian years to American thats... 16-17 years!)
#1 - Congrats on being brave enough to put your weight out there. Of course, you didn't tell us your height....4'11" or 5'7'' makes a big difference. ;-p
#2 - Many moons ago, my sister had a friend who was getting married and when the friend was trying on her dress for alterations, the bitch seamstress said, "You're built like a barn, aren't you?"
First of all -- can you stop saying "Sara D" because that has other meaning for me and my jaw just about drops every time you mention that name.
Second of all -- you got me beat:)
love your "bling" ... I am still trying to figure out how I am fully admitting my weight to the whole wide world!! I was hoping we could just keep it between ourselves...lol
Hi Sarah K! Thank you so much for visiting Casa Hice and leaving such a funny comment. I rushed over to your blog and LOVE it! Am subscribing immediately!
I am also on a diet adventure, so I feel your pain and can't wait to compare stories. I'm almost 60 pounds down since the end of January! Yay! It can be done, and blogging about it is an awesome incentive. It keeps you accountable and records progress.
I also see we have a wonderful friend in common! Becky from The Courteous Chihuahua. {Waving to Becky} Small world.
God Bless group weight loss. Anytime I've tried to lose weight with a friend we've ended up cheating together.
Wow, loving the blog page. I know you will do well and all other teams will be put to shame!!!
btw loved your Deepak Chopra comment lol...added a bit about that myself :)
